West Somerset Miniature Rifle League

Week 6 of the West Somerset Miniature Rifle League between the Minehead and Williton Rifle Clubs saw all four teams gathered at Minehead to shoot the second leg of the Clegg Cup.
Minehead went into the second stage with a lead of five points over Williton.  Both Clubs had ten people competing with the best eight scores from each Club to count.
Minehead scored 741 some four points lower than they did in the first leg. Williton scored 735 being 5 points lower than they achieved in the first leg.
Therefore Minehead won by eleven points over the two legs and claimed the first of the cups on offer.
For Minehead Andrew Moore scored 96 with Brian Slade and John Leslie providing able support with scores of 94.
For Williton Erica Jones scored 95 with John Grellier scoring 94.
After 6 rounds Williton A team lead the gun-score table with Minehead B team leading the handicap competition.
