West Somerset Miniature Rifle League

Week 17 of the West Somerset Miniature Rifle League saw everyone competing on the Williton Range in the first leg of the Northrop Cup. This competition is shot over two legs with each team competing against their average. Williton A are ahead after the first leg having scored 385 against their average of 382. Erica Jones with 98 and Jan Saunders-Singer with 97 top scored for Williton A. Minehead A were close behind scoring 387 against their average of 385.Adam Booker, Brian Slade and Ryan Graddon each contributed 97 to the Minehead total. The Minehead B team remains in the hunt with a score of 373 compared to their average of 372. Minehead C team despite an excellent 97 from Andrew Moore only managed to come in fourth place with 368 compared to their average of 372. Williton B team scored 365 against their average of 373. The final round of the League takes place next week on the Minehead Range which will determine the final destination for the Northrop Cup.
